As flash memory to Apple devices will revolution

Your iPhone is fast? Your Mac does not hang or "brakes" when working with demanding applications? In just a few years, we have learned not to ask these questions, and even pay attention to them, because we believe that Apple's devices have to work smartly and without complaints. But the reality behind all this power and performance are the latest technology, without which the "apple" gadgets would not be so, as we know them.
One such technology refers to the SSD - solid state drives, which are now Apple installs in virtually all of their computers. The iPhone and iPad also uses flash memory. The point is that SSD data is not stored on the rotating discs (as in the case of HDD - hard disk drives), and using the NAND flash memory.
NAND - a miracle of modern memory market. It stores information in an array of memory cells - the floating gate transistors. Programming the cell is as follows: the control NAND gate voltage is applied, then the electrons begin to move upwards. Then they overcome the border of the oxide and reach the floating gate. When you delete any of the data voltage is applied, electrons begin to reverse the movement of the floating gate through the oxide using a control gate grounded.
